On February 29, Arts On Main hosted the Van Buren High School (VBHS) annual fundraiser for the Community Services Clearing House "Meals for Kids" program. Over 145 patrons were served raising needed funds for a good cause. Tami Burdick-Kuhns, from the Community Services Clearinghouse, confirmed, "From 2011 up until last year, VBHS Empty Bowls has donated $33,697.02 to the Meals for Kids program!" We want to give a big thanks to everyone who contributed can goods and Walmart for their meat and vegetable donations to help make this event possible. And of course, a huge thank you to our VBHS volunteers - you guys rocked it! We couldn't have pulled off the event without all of you.
