Van Buren Lions Club Peace Poster Contest for ages 11-13
For over three decades, Lions clubs around the globe have been sponsoring a very special art contest in schools and youth groups. Creating peace posters gives children everywhere the chance to express their visions of peace and inspire the world through art and creativity. We are pleased to announce that, thanks to the Van Buren Lions Club, the local Peace Poster Contest is now open to students aged 11 to 13 within our community. Arts On Main will judge the submissions and select the winners. The Van Buren Lions Club will recognize and present awards to the top three winners—first place ($100), second place ($50), and third place ($25)—during their monthly meeting. The first place winner will automatically advance to the District level judging. All submitted posters will be exhibited at Arts On Main.
