2026 Adult Art Competition
For ages 18+
Artists may submit up to three works in one or multiple media:
AOM Member: One FREE entry and $10 each additional entry.
AOMAC Member: Two FREE entries and $10 for a third entry.
Non-Member: $50 entry fee for one entry and $10 each additional entry. Membership Info
Media: Traditional and non‐traditional 2D & 3D
Accepting drawings, paintings, digital art, photography, mixed media, found object, sculpture, collage, fibers, ceramics, and assemblage.
Artwork must not have been previously exhibited at Arts On Main.
Artworks must be original in concept, design, and execution. Reproductions of original works in other media (such as giclee prints of oil paintings), unless used as part of a mixed media work, will not be considered.
Gallery curator will determine which works are included in the exhibition and how they are displayed.
Art Preparation
Artwork restrictions, preparation, and pickup.
Artwork must be ready to hang with eye hooks and wire except for ceramics and 3D works.
The height + width (including frame) cannot exceed 80 inches.
Artwork may be for sale. AOM retains 30% commission from sales. Payment for art sales will be processed and issued at the close of the exhibition.
All work (including sold pieces) will remain on exhibition through September 26, 2026.
Artwork pickup dates will be Sept. 30-Oct. 2. We will email you a reminder when artwork is ready for pickup.
Artwork Check-in
Bring and check-in artwork with entry forms to Arts On Main, 415 Main Street, Van Buren. We will have printed entry forms available for you.
Artwork check-in dates:
July 9th, 10th & 11th
Daily 11:00 am - 6:00 pm
Must present drivers license to verify you are the artist for the submission.
Each artwork requires 2 completed Entry Forms
Attach one entry form to the back of the artwork.
Submit second entry form at check-in.

Artists whose artwork is selected for an award will receive their award packet during the Opening Reception.
