Join us for a creative and hands-on class where you'll explore the magical world of resist shibori dyeing using your sewing machine! Shibori is a wonderfully versatile and enchanting technique, and the more you explore it, the more you'll discover its endless possibilities. This class will build on your dyeing knowledge, but even those with no experience will have fun and success!

This workshop is designed for those who have basic experience with a sewing machine — no advanced sewing skills required, just the ability to use a straight stitch. While a free-motion quilting setup is a bonus, it's not necessary, as Jane will be demonstrating both straight stitch and free-motion techniques during the class. After stitching, the thread will be carefully removed to reveal stunning, one-of-a-kind patterns once the fabric is dyed.

If you’re new to free-motion stitching or would like a refresher, Jane is offering a brief lesson at her home studio prior to the class.
