Amy Scoggins work explores the emotional landscape of chronic illness, medical advocacy, and caregiving through narrative-driven mixed media. By combining traditional techniques with salvaged medical and domestic materials, I examine the tension between clinical environments and lived experience. This work began as an attempt to encourage other families facing similar circumstances—medical mystery, isolation, and the fight for answers. Through material storytelling, I seek to give form to invisible struggles and foster connection through shared vulnerability.
