Born in 1973 and raised in eastern Oklahoma, Daniel Walters holds an Associate of Arts degree from Carl Albert State College. He has been a professional artist for approximately 20 years, exhibiting in galleries across Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Texas. In the late 1990s and early 2000s, Daniel shifted focus from gallery exhibitions to commission work. His commissioned pieces are held in private collections throughout the United States and Canada, as well as displayed in several public buildings in eastern Oklahoma and western Arkansas. Additionally, Daniel has completed murals in these regions and collaborated with small towns in eastern Oklahoma to support arts community development. Walters is currently represented by Lovetts Gallery in Tulsa, OK and Leah Do Fine Art in New York.
